The creative photographer, adventurer and tourist Michael Hughes made a wonderful collection of optical illusions by using souvenirs. He places the souvenirs in front of famous landmarks around the world. He is a freelance photographer in Germany. Michael first used this interesting technique in 1998 when he held up a postcard he bought for his daughter on the tourist platform at the Lorelei cliffs next to the river Rhine. After that discovery, he started visiting the famous landmarks just to take a picture of a souvenir in front of them.

Take a look at the pictures that are just a part from his collection. Maybe you can try this interesting technique on your next trip. Enjoy!
