What you will need for this project:
- 4 wooden crates
- 1 piece of heavy duty plywood
- 5 casters
- 24 caster bolts for attaching casters to plywood
- 1 can of wood stain of your choice
- 1 foam brushes or paint brush
- 8 bolts to attach wood wine crates together
You don’t have to buy yet another simple table when you can easily make one at your home with just a few materials.
After drinking a few bottles of wine, don’t throw away the wine crates. Give them a nice, warm color to fit your interior the best. You can stick to the natural color of the wood, or choose some other bold color.
When the color dries, you can attach all the crates together to make one piece. You can put the crates with the opening facing outward and make the crates into the shape of square. Leave a smaller open square in the center of them for more dramatic and amazing look. Bolt the sides of the crates together to make sure they are well connected and stable. The next step is to attach the caster wheels to all four corners to make a rolling platform. After staining the plywood to match the color of the crates, you need to attach the bottom of the crate square to the top of the plywood.
This table design made of wooden crates is magnificent, because you can roll the table around to new spots and the wheels also give the table a little bit of height to make it more functional and comfortable. You can use it to store books, blankets and other things.
