The bathroom is not only one of your home’s most important rooms to keep tidy, but also one of the most difficult. If you choose the right products, you won’t have any difficulties. However, I wanted to help you, so I rounded up some interesting and very smart tips to keep your bathroom clean longer. They will help you achieve this work in less time and without much effort. Spray ceiling, walls, countertops, tiles and the ceiling with all purpose cleaner, turn on the shower with hot water for about 5 min. Let the cleaner and the steam mix for 20 min and then wipe down everything with clean cloth.
Start from the showerhead: pour white vinegar into a plastic grocery bag and tie it in place for an overnight soaking. Remove it in the morning and run the water to rinse. Put the plastic shower curtains and liners into the washing machine with a few towels and add your regular detergent. The towels will act as scrubbers and will help you get rid of the mildew and scum. You can clean the doors with a paste of baking soda and white vinegar, and the tub with a bathroom cleaner.
Dip a brush in bleach and scrub the discolored areas. Then rinse well that areas.
Pour a cup of baking soda into the bowl and let it sit for a couple of minutes, then brush and flush. If you still see some spots, use a damp pumice stone t remove stains caused by mineral deposits. You just need to be gentle not to damage surfaces.
Pour baking soda or vinegar down the drain and flush with hot water. You can clean the faucet with disposable disinfecting wipes.
Hand Towels
Replace the towels in your bathroom with clean towels every three or four days. If your washing machine has a sanitizing setting, use it or bleach them. Avoid hanging wet towels near the toilet and clean the towel bar regularly.
Extra Tips:
- The hard water marks can be removed by pouring a can of cola down the toilet bowl. Leave it for one hour and then flush.
- You can remove the hard-to-shift stains with white vinegar.
- White wine can be used for cleaning glass shower doors.
- Clean the grout with a mixture of lemon juice and baking soda, and the bathroom appliances with a micro-fiber cloth.
- Make your stainless steel sink shine with olive oil and a soft cloth.
- You can rub the stainless steel taps with a cut lemon and make them shine.
