Chhattisgarh was given the standing of a state on 1st November, 2000 as India’s 26th state. Air infrastructure of Chhattisgarh is not as much developed as compared to other states in India. Swami Vivekananda airport is the only commercial airport in Raipur that is operated on a large scale.
