It is located in the province of Overijssel and it has 2,500 inhabitants. This car free village is also known as ‘the Venice of the North’ or ‘Venice of the Netherlands’.The only ways for moving through this beautiful place is on foot or by bike and canoe.

There are around 180 bridges that can take you to most of the houses, or you can use the canoes.
