Small house or apartment isn’t a limitation – but something to celebrate! You can find majestic homes with king-sized beds, master bedrooms and spacious living rooms. But bigger doesn’t always mean better! There are lots of potential problems and added expenses that accompany a large home. A smaller home on the other hand, has plenty of advantages that the homebuyer tipically doens’t consider. So, for today, I have a very interesting post that is called “5 Reasons Why You’ll Be Happier in a Smaller Space”.

1. LESS EXPENSIVE
Generally smaller homes come with smaller price tags, something that is good for your wallet as well as for your mind! Small homes are also less expensive to keep (electricity, cooling, heating, taxes, insurance,etc.).
2. LESS TIME TO CLEAN
Less time cleaning and more time doing anything else is definitely a pont in a favour of a tinier home. If you live in a big house, you probably know the amout of time, energy and effort to clean it.
3. ENCOURAGES FAMILY BOUNDING
A smaller house or apartment results in more social interactions among the members of the family.
4. LESS DECORATING
Small spaces also mean less decorating! While some people enjoy choosing furniture, decors and light fixtures, some don’t!
5. MORE TIME
Less cleaning and less maintaining result in the freeing up your schedule to pursue the things in life that really matter.
Use the floor to store things.
Use your wardrobe as a wall!
Use racks to hang the items you use every day.
Small kitchens don’t need to be cluttered. Clean up the countertops by organizing everything well.
Decorate your space with some bright colors that will make it look larger and open.
Incorporate multi-functional furniture and think about using the vertical space.
You can make your space more private with a room divider!
Use every corner of your tiny bathroom.
